Surveys & Reports

Whether buying a new house or looking at an older structure; PG Architects can carry out a detailed survey, advise and report on the condition of existing buildings.

Feasibility Studies

In consultation with the client, the practice will develop a detailed design brief, carry out site appraisals, work within budgets and explore a range of options to achieve the optimum design solution.  

Planning Applications

PG Architects has an excellent track record of preparing, submitting and seeking planning approvals for new houses & buildings, extensions & alterations to existing buildings and works to or adjoining protected (historic) structures. 

Fire & Disability Certificates

Our architectural services include the preparation, liaison with the council and lodgement of Fire Safety Certificate applications and Disability Access Cert (DAC) applications for council approval.

3D Visualisations & Model Making

Large or small, PG Architects develops the design of every project with computer generated 3D models, which clearly shows the building’s form, space and materials. 

Tender & Construction Preparation

PG Architects leads and manages full design teams to create very detailed tender and construction drawings, specifications and documents in order to seek fixed price contracts from building contractors. 

Interior & Furniture Design

PG Architects works with the client and skilled cabinet-makers to design the kitchen and fitted furniture, which forms an integral part of the overall design and vision of the project. 

On-site Inspections

PG Architects carries out regular site inspections of the construction works on site, holds site meetings, manages and administers the building contract to represent the client’s best interests at all times.  

Conservation

Patrick is RIAI accredited in Conservation at Grade 3.  PG Architects will carry out detailed surveys and design creative extensions to historic buildings incorporating sensitive restoration works.

Health & Safety

Patrick has RIAI accreditation, training and experience to act as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) on a range of projects under the Health & Safety Construction Regulations. 

Passive House & Sustainable Design

Whatever the size, type or value of project, we prioritise environmental sustainability in terms of location, form, materials, services, energy use and life cycle costs to ensure a better quality of life for everybody.

Building Energy Rating (BER)

Patrick is a trained SEAI Building Energy Rating Assessor.  PG Architects prepares energy assessment and reports during the design development of the project to meet BER rating and energy renewables requirements.

Compliance Certification

On the satisfactory completion of construction works, PG Architects prepares and issues certificates of compliance to demonstrate that the works complies with building regulations and planning permission.
